Like last year, the national broadcaster Česká Televize encouraged the authors and singers to send their songs to broadcaster to be chosen as Czech Republic’s entry for Esc 2016.
According to EscUnited, they (Česká Televize) have shortlisted it to three songs. And during the month, commission from the ČT will evaluate the candidate songs again, and the one of them will be chosen as entry. It’s expected that the song will be announced in February.
Marta Jandová and Václav Noid Bárta represented Czech Republic with their great song “Hope Never Dies” after the five years absence , but unfortunately they could not qualify again.
