There will be 57th Festival i Kenges this evening. Albania’s song choice for Eurovision Song Contest will be clear.
Albania has determined the representatives and songs for the Eurovision Song Contest with this Festival since their first participation. This year Albania will determine its representative and song in this way.
This year, 54 songs were submitted to the competition, and as a result of the evaluation of the national jury committee, 14 songs were qualified to compete in the national final.

Unlike other years, this year the semi-final system was not implemented to the Festival i Kenges. Contest with a 3-stage program was prepared.
Contestants sang their songs accompanied by the orchestra on the first evening. On the second evening, they performed live with a studio recording without an orchestra.
This evening the contestants who will perform their performances with the orchestra again will be subject to voting after the performances.
Also this evening, Ermal Meta, as an Albanian singer who represented Italy in Eurovision 2018, will be the guest artist.
Public votes were effective last year. But it is estimated that this year, only national and international jury votes will be effective in song selection.
