Iceland’s Söngvakeppnin’s first Semi-Final will be held in Reykjavík, Háskólabíó venue. Hosts are for all the shows are Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir and Guðrún Dís Emilsdóttir unfortunately Iceland is the only Nordic country which had never won the contest.And it’s the 30th year of Iceland in Eurovision. Show will start at 20:00 CET. For the first semi final we will have 6 acts.
1-Greta Salóme Stefánsdóttir
Does she sound familiar yes cause she sing in Baku in 2012 with the song “Never Forget”. She came 20th in the final. Now she want to try her chance with the song “Raddirnar” which means “The Voices”. Can she represent Iceland again ?

They will try their chance with the song “Hugur minn er” and it means “My Mind Is” In English.

3-Ingólfur Þórarinsson
He will compete with the song “Fátækur námsmaður” which means “A Broke Student”. As you will understand from it’s name it’s a stupid-funny song and some think it might we will see.

Song will be sang by 2 women it’s a really heavy ballad. It’s name is “Ég sé þig” which means “I See You”.

5-Karlotta Sigurðardóttir
“Óstöðvandi” is one of the strong songs of Söngvakeppnin 2016. It’s an original song with a good voice. It has a nice vibe Goofd Luck Karlotta. It means “Unstoppable” in English.

6-Sigga Eyrún
Can anybody tell Nintendo that they can use the rhythm of this song for the next Mario game. Anyway it’s a nice song but just nice it has a lot of tunes in 3 minutes so it’a a little confusing.
