Festivali i Këngës, which is one of the most rooted and the most prestigious song contests in Albania, which is also determine the representative of Albania at Eurovision Song Contest will take place for 54th time this year. First semi final will be at christmas night, and on 27th of December, Albania will determine it’s reperesentative for this year’s Eurovision, which will be held in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm.

Last year, Elhaida Dani won the contest and gain right for representing Albania at last year’s Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Diell”. After a few months, the composer of the song has withdrawn from the contest and she think that she will disqualify from the contest but then she has come up with a new song that she has just made around 10 days with the Kosovo Albanian composers Zzap & Chris which is called “I’m Alive”. At the end of this disquieting incident, her new song has won much more recognition than “Diell”, this unwilling change has happily welcomed by so many fans.
