In the final of P4 next which was decided on Saturday, Amanda Aasa won a place in the Melodifestivalen.
On Saturday evening, the live broadcast of P4 Next was held at Linköping Concert & Congress. Each year, one of the competitors wins an offer to participate in next year’s edition of the Melodifestivalen.
This year it was Amanda Aasa, 22, who competed for Västernorrland.
– It’s really fun. We didn’t think it was relevant earlier this spring, but we thought about it and felt that this exposure can do something very good if you have the right organization around you, she tells Nöjesbladet.
Amanda Aasa has previously participated in, among other things, the talent program “Idol” in TV4 as 17 and has been associated with artists such as Miss Li, Dotter and the Swedish Bear Tribe. In P4 Next she competed with the song “Go Home”.
