Annette Heick and Johannes Nymark were presented as hosts of 2017 Dansk Melodi Grand Prix which held on 25 February in Jyske Bank Boxen, Herning.
Annette Heick will be hosting the show as last year and Johannes Nymark, who won the Grand Prix earlier this year with the group Lighthouse X, will companion her.
“I am really looking forward to helping to host a show where we all enjoy and celebrate Danish music. It will be really cool and huge, but also a little anxiety provoking, so I’m glad that I have such a rock as Annette beside me”, Johannes says.
“I began to cry for joy when I got the offer to host again. I am insanely happy, and also to stand there with Johannes. He is so thumping clever and totally cool, so I’m quite sure it probably should be good”, says Annette Heick.
DR Grand Prix will be taken on 25 February live from Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning. Out of the record number of songs that were submitted during the late summer, ten songs have been selected to compete in the Danish final. Who is going to take part in Melodi Grand Prix 2017 will be published at a later date
