Armenian national broadcaster AMPTV has announced that they will determine the entry for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest  in a series of shows called  Depi Evratesil (To Eurovision).

 

TV viewers have to wait for three months to make acquainted with the Armenian participant for 2017 Eurovision Song Contest after the process starts. TV shows will be including auditions, comments by previous Eurovision representatives and professional juries. The auditions, to choose the candidates for the live shows, will take place in September. From October to December viewers will be able to watch Depi Evratesil live on the First Channel of AMPTV.

 

 

 

 

 

Who can participate?

Artists who are Armenian or of Armenian heritage, 16 years and older and who would like to conquer the Eurovision Song Contest stage can get their time to shine. The call for applications starts on 6 July. To register for the auditions, each candidate must fill in and submit the an application atwww.eurovision.am before until 25 August. The winner will get a chance to represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

 

 

 

Iveta Mukuchyan represented Armenia at the Grand Final of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm with the song LoveWave, and she finished the night as 7th with 249 points.
