Malta’s Destiny said “No No No Not My Soul” back in November in Bulgaria and broke the record of Junior Eurovision. Most of the fans say Malta is the new Sweden in Junior Eurovision because of the changes they made but what are those changes.
First of all a rumor spread all over the social media says Junior Eurovision is over EBU will no longer support Junior Eurovision but after that back in April EBU announced Junior Eurovision Valetta 2016.
Along with this announcment EBU changed the day of JESC from Saturday evening to Sunday Afternoon to make more families to watch Junior Eurovision. This one was the first change I don’t think next one I will mention is a change but it is. The arena, actually it is a conference centre, only has 1500 seats and as i mentioned it is an auditorium in a conference centre it really sounds weird right ? Also Mediterranean Conference Centre built in 1574. Other thing is PBS, Maltese National Broadcster, said they will make the contest in different locations all over the Valetta even producer tried to explain how will it work at press conference in Stockholm we still don’t have any certain information about it.
They changed the age rage of the contest to 9-14 so if you are 15 years old there is no avaliable contest for you run by EBU.
And no more televoting for JESC due to low text messages in the Final so there will only be Kids Juries and Professional(!) Juries.
