The 65th Eurovision Song Contest which scheduled for May but canceled due to the new coronavirus pandemic will be held in Rotterdam next year. Many broadcasters encouraged fans to decide to send the same representative for next year after all competing songs revealed.
Last year’s withdrawn countries which are Hungary and Montenegro didn’t make any announcement yet. Slovak, Monégasque, and Luxembourgish broadcasters would not participate in the 2021 contest.
Although, Andorran broadcaster RTVA may participate 2022 contest after ten years break. despite the Prime minister announced that Andorra would not participate in the 2021 contest because of COVID 19 Pandemic.
Also, Moroccan broadcaster SNRT may participate in upcoming editions. After the Israeli-Arab League relationship healing steps. Their interest in the competition is expected to increase along with other north African countries.
Turkish broadcaster TRT and new observer member Kazakh television didn’t make a statement so far.
