Since 2015, Australia has regularly participate in the Eurovision Song Contest and held its first national finals in Gold Coast Queensland last year.
Australian National Television SBS, which announced that it would make a national final for this year, started to receive song applications months ago.
The first two participants will be announced tomorrow.
