France’s Eurovision preparatory channel France Television, will participate to the contest in 2020 in the Netherlands. The statement was released at the channel’s new season meeting. At the meeting it was announced that a similar method will use for next year. This probably means Destination Eurovision will be used.
France is the 9th most successful country in Eurovision history. France has drawn a falling graph for the last four years. France was represented by Bilal Hassani in last year. Bilal finished 16th with 105 points.
