2006 Eurovision Song Contest’s winner group Lordi will join annual hard rock festival Soundwave 2016 that is organized in Australia.
Before five artists had already confirmed to join in festival, sixth one Lordi approved. Finn monsters will sing their songs to rock lovers during festivals that held on Saturday 23 January Brisbane, Sunday 24 January Sydney, Tuesday 26 January Melbourne (Australia Day public holiday).
Promoter Chris O’Brien says Soundwave has been trying to book the monstrous metal act for years, and promises “the biggest production we possibly can”.
Excep the monsters, Refused, Bullet For My Valentine, Northlane, Dead Letter Circus and Failure will take to the stage in festival.
