Production Designer Frida Arvidsson and Viktor Brattström have created the stage for Melodifestivalen 2015. The scene is a full 24 meters wide and 21 meters deep and it makes it a record
Frida said:
“We have wanted to make a deep scene that will include the arena and the crowd so we’ve done that a long runway can say. We want the audience in the arena feel involved.”
Built-in LED panels and light is a steady feature of the scene in Melodifestivalen 2015. Behind the tubes, there is a feature wall of textile and rows of hybrid LED for effect lighting. Even in the floor and the stage’s sides are built-in LED for effect and mood. At the back of the center of the scene is an eight-meter-high tower of black metal equipped with various fittings.
We have also tried to build in as much light as possible into the decoration so as to be able to vary much. We have LEDs and lights built, we even have lights in the floor, says Frida Arvidsson.
Another change is that the greenroom of the year gets a new old position and placed next to the stage. To the final of the Friends Arena will greenroom then be moved and be in the middle of the parquet with the 12 contributions that make up the profits.
