ORF will organize the show which named “Eurovision Youth Contest” on May 20, 2015.
The ORF and ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) invite 8.000 youngsters to creatively look into this year’s ESC- slogan “Building Bridges”. Austrian pupils up to grade six (and at least 10 years) can apply and the most interesting ideas will be rewarded with the chance to attend the afternoon-show the day before the second semi-final which is usually reserved for national and international newspapermen. The winners will be chosen by a jury and via online votes. The plan is that groups consisting of at least ten pupils find their own unique way to build bridges in our society. The winners and their entourage will travel to Vienna via ÖBB for free and the winning concepts of each state will be presented onstage before the show.
