Eurovision Song Contest 2014 co-host Pilou Asbaek will join Game Of Thrones in 2016.
HBO has reportedly cast Danish actor Pilou Asbæk as Euron Greyjoy in Season 6 of Game of Thrones.
Asbæk starred in the Danish series Borgen, appeared on The Borgias as Paolo Orsini, and will play Pontius Pilate in the upcoming Ben-Hur remake.
Euron “Crow’s Eye” Greyjoy is Lord Balon Greyjoy’s eldest younger brother. He captain’s the Silence, a ship whose entire crew has had their tongues ripped out.
It seems that the Greyjoy subplot that was left by the wayside last season is picking up again in Season 6. Euron appears in the fourth book in the series, A Feast for Crows, after Lord Balon Greyjoy dies. Balon is rumored to finally perish in Season 6, which leads to the scene Asbæk was supposedly caught filming.
