After a four nights of marathon we learn the finalist in the first round first 15 song qualified for the final then last five song went to the second round and the winner will be announced later today. As a result of this now we know the 15 finalists of the Sanremo Music Festival 2016 and here they are:
Noemi
She was the coach of “The Voice of Italy” in 2013. This will be her second attend to Sanremo first was in 2010 with the song “Per tutta la vita” and it won the Platinum Disk. Her songs name for 2016 is “La borsa di una donna”.
Arisa
In 2014 she reached to the third place in Italian Charts with the album “Se Vedo Te” and she was at the top of Italian Charts in 2009, 2012, 2014 with her singles she won Sanremo newcomers in 2009 and Sanremo big artists in 2014 and she had the second place in 2012. Her 2016 song called “”Guardando il cielo”.
Rocco Hunt
Here we have another winner of “New Comers” part of Sanremo from 2014. He usually sings rap. His song named “Wake Up” for 2016 and it’s the only English Song in this Sanremo 2016 so far.
Clementino
He is the member of the group “Rapstar” but he has released 4 single albums in 2006, 2011, 2013 and 2015. He is coming with the song “Quando sono lontano” which means “When I’m away” in English and it has written by himself, Vincent Stein and Konstantin Scherer.
Francesca Michielin
She was a contestant of X-Factor Italy in 2011 and she was a great artist in 2012 in Sanremo. She is making her debut with the song “Nessun grado di separazione” which means “No degree of separation”. It has written by herself, Federica Abbate, Cheope and Fabio Gargiulo.
Alessio Bernabei
His song for Sanremo 2016 is “Noi siamo infinito” and it means “We are infinite” and it has written by Ivan Amatucci, Roberto Casalino, Dario Faini.
Dolcenera
She won the “Newcomers” part in 2003 and this will be her third time as a big artist in Sanremo. She has released five studio albums since 2003. She won three awards in “Venice Music Awards”. Her song for 2016 is “Ora o mai più (le cose cambiano)” which means “Now or never (Things change)” and it has written by Emanuela Trane and Alessandro Finazzo.
Lorenzo Fragola
He is 20 and he won the Italian Version of the X-Factor. He released his first album in 2015 and it named “1995”. It had reached to the top spots in Italian Charts. His songs name for Sanremo 2016 is “Infinite volte”.
Enrico Ruggeri
Hello Hello to an Eurovision veteran Enrico. He has competed in 1993 and he finished 12th. He had released 34 albums since 1977. He won Sanremo in 1987 too. He is returning to Sanremo with the song “Il primo amore non si scorda mai”
Irene Fornaciari
She participated in “Newcomers” part in 2009 and she return in 2010 in “Big Artists” part. She had released 3 albums in 2007, 2009 and 2012. She sings Blues. She is coming with the song “Blu”to 2016.
Valerio Scanu
He had already won Sanremo in 2010 with the song “Per tutte le volte che…” He has released 5 studio albums since 2009. He is returning with the song “Finalmente piove” and it means “It’s finally raining” and it has written by Fabrizio Moro.
Elio e le Storie Tese
They had released ten studio albums. Their current members are Stefano Belisari, Sergio Conforti, Nicola Fasani, Davide Civaschi, Christian Meyer and Antonello Aguzzi. They finished in second place two times in Sanremo in 1996 an 2013. They are returning with the song “Vincere l’odio” and it means “Beating the hatred” and it has written by Stefano Belisari, Nicola Fasani, Davide Civaschi, Sergio Conforti.

Annalisa Scarrone
Her album “Nali” reached to the second place and certificated Platinum in 2011 after success she has released 3 more studio albums. She will sing for the third time at Sanremo. She is returning with the song “Il diluvio universale” and it means “The great flood” and it has written by Annalisa Scarrone, Diego Calvetti.
Patty Pravo
She has released 27 studio albums since 1968 and she has reached to the first place 3 times in Italian Charts in 1968, 1973, 1974. She came fifth in Sanremo in 1969 and this will be her sixth appearance in Sanremo. Her son for 2016 is “Cieli immensi” which means “Immense skies” and it has only written by Fortunato Zampaglione.
Stadio
They will release their 15th studio album in 2016 they’ve releasing albums since 1982. This will be their fifth attend to Sanremo their result result is 5th in 1999. They are coming with the song “Un giorno mi dirai”. Members of the band are Giovanni Pezzoli , Roberto Drovandi , Andrea Fornili , Gaetano Curreri .
