Have you ever heard the Barbara Dex Award? If your answer is: “No.”, you should read this story.

The Barbara Dex Award has been annually awarded by the fan website called “House of Eurovision” since 1997. It is a humorous award which is given to the worst dressed artist every year in the contest. The name of the award was inspired by the Belgian representer in 1993, Barbara Dex, who became last in the 1993 edition of the contest, in which she wore a(n) (awful) dress designed by herself.
