Finland has started already working to choose the song in 2016.
This is the fifth time Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu is being held. According to the rules of UMK 2016, the contest will run in several phases. First of all, potential contestants must send in their application and submission by September 8. YLE (Finnish National Broadcast) will evalluate all of the entries and, on January 12, announce which of them will proceed.
Last year, Finland don’t pass the Grand Final in Eurovision Song Contest 2015.
