Today Cevat ASLAN who is editor in ESCape News has called TRT and The Turkish broadcaster has informed to him that Turkey does not participate at the forthcoming 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.

Turkey first time joined at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1975 with Semiha Yankı’s “Seninle Bir Dakika”. Turkey won the contest in 2003 with Sertab Erener’s “Everyway That I Can”.
