United Kingdom, where hosted Eurovision last time in 1998 and could not reach top 5 since 2009, have never had a national final experience since 2010. Next year, they are planning to try a new format instead of internal selection which they have using for many years.
The UK delegation contacted with the producer of famous TV show “X Factor UK”, Simon Cowell; as far as we have learned. And, the opinion of Cowell is positive. The result of the discussions will be ended and the decision will be clarified in a few days. If the decision is positive, UK will select their representative via “X Factor UK”.
