Zoe Will Wave the Austrian Flag in Stockholm

The national final of Austria “Wer Singt für Österreich?” (Who Will Sing for Austria?) was held this night. Zoe will represent Austria with her song  Loin D’ici at 61st Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm.

Last year Austria has honored to be hosting 60th Eurovision Song Contest in their capital, Vienna. But unluckily they have ended up the contest at last place with zero points. Elly V With “I’ll Be Around” and Zoe with “Loin D’ici” qualified for the super-final.

During final, ten artists performed their song to go through super final. After each performances, the expert juries have commented them, and voted. Also the public could vote for its favorite while the time passing. According to combination of votes, ZOË & Elly V were the top two.

How Jury Voted

The two superfinalists then performed their songs once again, and this time televoting solely decided the winner and thus the Austrian representative in Stockholm: ZOË with Loin d’ici!

At the same time the winner of Eurovision 2014, dear Conchita Wurst has attented the night as an expert juries. Also she performed the song  ‘That’s What I Am’ .
