Melodifestivalen 2019 Stage Design has been released.
According to announcement, this years’s Melfest stage will have both a LED screen stage AND a lighting base. Moreover, The LED has the highest resolution ever, and the stage is a record-breaking 22 meters wide. Unlike last years’ stages, this design stands out in a new direction- namely on the width. They get two different scenes in one, on a record-wide stage floor. Additionally, designer Viktor Brattström decided to combine two different opinions which always controversial, left-side of stage will be equipped with lights (for performance-oriented shows) and right-side of stage will have high-resolution LED wall, where the artists can make video numbers.
The stage design of Melodifestivalen 2019 is a chameleon, providing some 35 different looks, interval and opening acts included. The width is a record-breaking 22 meters, and the stage includes both a part and a LED screen and a part based on lighting. The LED screen has the highest resolution in Melodifestivalen ever, and the ring in the lighting stage is the heaviest hanging element ever.
